Competition and Antitrust
Our firm advises national and international clients in matters of antitrust, carrying out the investigation of criteria, interpretation and representation in matters related to the Federal Law of Economic Competition, as well as in the implementation of compliance policies regarding competition and antitrust in a general scope and for specific transactions, including the drafting and negotiation of non-compete clauses and/or agreements.
We prepare legal opinions regarding the need to notify concentrations to the Federal Economic Competition Commission to consummate mergers and acquisitions transactions, and if necessary, we advise on the drafting and filing of the necessary documents, as well as on the representation of our clients in the event of information requirements or investigations by the authorities.
We have actively advised on matters related to investigations for relative and absolute monopolistic practices, illicit concentrations, immunity requests, notifications of this type of proceedings, among others.
